Meet the Team
Nina Geneson Otis
Nina is the broker and principal of Metropolitan Properties. She is a San Francisco native and graduate of UC Berkeley for both undergraduate and law school. Prior to Metropolitan Properties, Nina ran operations at local mortgage bank, Integrated Mortgage and previous to that she practiced law at Baker & McKenzie, focusing on international tax and securities. Nina has focused on real estate investment since 2004 and brokerage since 2006. Nina enjoys time with her family, which includes two children and three dogs. She actively supports various organizations protecting the environment and animals.
Kathryn Gaehwiler
Kathryn is also a San Francisco native with many years of experience in investing and property management. Kathryn attended UC Berkeley as an undergraduate and holds an MBA from University of Arkansas. Prior to real estate, Kathryn had a career working as a Certified Public Accountant, at one of "the Big Five" and at PG&E. Kathryn has managed Metropolitan Properties' private money lending and loan servicing activities since 2006.
